A little music production tip for people who make melodic styles of dance music, similar to the likes of Anjunadeep or even some of the stuff on the North Origin label. You are creating atmospheric pad sounds from melodies that already exist in your track, so the layer shares the same harmonic information as the melody but adds a lot more depth and ambiance to the track overall.
