Denny and James Dexter - C’mon is a great club track released on the latest Saved Records compilation. Denney’s music always has a great groove and chunky and deep basslines which work great on the dancefloors. C’mon is a straight up club track, which stays true to the stripped back sound, with vocal hooks for good measure.
Blank Page has been putting out some really nice melodic and progressive music as of late and his remix for Brad Hart is no exception. This is a great track for progressive house lovers; chunky basslines, arp melodies and an epic breakdown. Released on Laika Sounds.
This blog isn't just about sharing new music; it’s about sharing good music! Regardless of when it was made. All music is new music to someone who hasn’t heard it before. Shik Stylko with an absolute progressive house monster from 2012.
A firm favorite on the blog; Grum, is back with another absolute tune. This one borders more on the melodic house & techno side of the progressive house spectrum but Graeme showcases his versatility as a producer and absolutely nails it. If his recent output is anything to go by then his forthcoming album will be an absolute belter.
Having a little bit of a throwback today! Maceo Plex - Under the sheets. Naughty little vocals, melodic and chunky basses that Maceo is known for!! Belter.
Special Request, an alias of the legend that is Paul Woolford has a whole range of eclectic and experimental electronic music. ‘Arse end of the moon’ will take you on a bit of a breaks journey!! A man of many talents indeed.
Marino Canal has dropped a beautiful EP on Jeremy Olander’s imprint; Vivrant. It was hard to pick a favorite but ‘Calling Me Back’ is what we landed on. Lovely arps, melodies and atmospheres. All beautifully balanced. Nice.
The Progressive House GOAT Eric Prydz is back; under his Pryda alias. Eric is known for keeping his tunes locked up but as of late he has been treating his fans with a barrage of music. His new release has many great tracks but we selected ‘Joyous’. A very fitting name for a track which brings you that classic Pryda vibe.
Yotto continues his barrage of absolute tuneage. He has been regularly releasing on his own ‘Odd One Out’ imprint and the output has been nothing short of sensational. ‘Is This Trance?’ brings a fresh twist to the progressive scene. Is it progressive house? Is it Trance? Is it ‘Trouse’......whatever it is....its excellent.
Marsh has dropped a two track EP on the always awesome Anjunadeep. Marsh is known for creating beautifully deep electronic music and this EP stays true to his melodic sound. ‘1992’ has a great atmosphere with gated vocal samples running in the background. Get on it.
